I don’t know if you still write or check this, but I was skimming through some of these posts, and God, so much of what you say you feel is the same thing I hear inside my head at all time about most everything I’ve read thus far. So, I’ve deduced that you are a fellow perfectionist (of course, it doesn;t exist, but for us, ‘perfection’ is about being ‘good emough’). I just wanted to say that men will be men. They watch porn. It’s like a ‘blankie’ to a small child, we will never understand it until we have penises. It doesn’t have to do with you( I know, until we know they do it, and the logic goes right out the window)But, as perfectionists, it does us a great disservice to believe that we are the majority. We are not, and if you doubt this fact, just go have a looksy at the general public. I feel that when we start to understand that our own standards of everything are too high, then we can lower the bar to human proportions where our loved ones are concerned. It makes for many less resentments, at least.
